School Modernization completed in Fall of 2018. The original contract was for $5,560,000 and to date, there are 52 change orders totalling $2,863.99. This was made possible due to the finding of numerous cost-saving opportunities by the project team over the life of the project.
This project involved demolition and remodelling of the Nelson Mandela Gymnasium, new pile foundation, structural steel framing, masonry, interior construction and interior and exterior finishing. This project met the contracted Substantial Completion and handover dates.
